November Meeting

Hey SONDies,

Thanks to all who attended our November SOND meeting! Here's a quick recap for those who might have missed it:

Professor Carrie Earthman, director of the didactic program in dietetics (DPD) here at the U of M, gave some great information for those interested in becoming a dietitian. Her presentation outlined the academic steps to becoming a dietitian, the difference between everyday internships and accredited dietetic internships, and ways to become a competitive applicant for these dietetic internships.

Carrie prepared a great presentation, with paper copies available for those in attendance. She is placing the extra copies outside of her office door, so feel free to go pick one up and introduce yourself to our program director!
